Life has been pretty boring lately. I had too much free time on my hands yesterday. Thus, I opened up my Photoshop CS and began drawing meaningless stuff. Alright, one wasn’t. It was a card for my Dad. He was so happy when he receive the card. I was pretty happy with the result of my boredom. I drew a bird that actually looks like one. That was considered a great achivement for me since I failed my art. I’ve also added a snapshots section to my site, it’s like a mini photolog. If you’re curious how I look … I’ve just added the latest photograph I took with Sharon today. We were at Orchard Cineleisure and decide to visit one of those neoprints shop. Did I mention that I’m accepted as a reviewer at Honest Truth Reviews by Chrissie and Jon? I’m so glad to be able to work with those talented guys over there. I hope my reviews are okay since I’ve got pretty much no experience in reviewing. Sometimes I feel that my reviews aren’t up to pare. Sigh… I’ve been thinking of some stuffs recently and it’s getting on my nerve so I might write about it sometime today. I was thinking of revamping the visitors section with new content. Any suggestions on what type of content I should have?

I had a bad day yesterday. My friend and I quarrel with our boss because he refuses to give us out pay check for the week after we told him we were quitting. It is so unfair. He wanted us to work for $5 an hour when the basic pay for that job in all the other companies were around $10 plus. He still told us how much he was paying us for. However, the sum which he told us was untrue. I calculated it after I went home. Therefore, we were forced to work for another week. I had been pretty bored these few days, there is nothing much to do on the Internet after I had updated my site. Thus, I joined a few forums to pass time. Vortex and Kawaiiness. While I was surfing the Kathy’s, a fellow Singaporean, site just now, I stumbled upon some sites reflecting on Singlish. There is even a Coxford Singlish Dictionary. I was just pretty shock by it. Did it really seem as though we Singaporeans can’t type in coherent sentences?

Some people just had to act without asking the other parties involved whether he could do that or not. One of my friends always can’t seem to understand the basic concept on respect. It was a headache and I’m really having one now. The worse thing is he did it again and again which is getting on my nerve and a few friends of mine too. Why can’t they understand? Is he that ignorant? I am getting so tired of this. So much for a relaxing weekend. I did some major updating today and also edited Linkage. I’ve got a conclusion today, the 4 room HDB flat I’m living in is old and is seriously in need of repairing. Why? Last night, the entire rows of tiles on the kitchen wall drop off. And it really did. My sister and I heard a loud cracking noise past midnight. By instinct, both of us went out of our room to check and we even woke our Mum up. After doing some surveying for 10 minutes, we still could not find the source of the noise. Thinking that nothing has happen and our ears were just playing tricks on us (3 people at the same time? coincident?), we went to bed. The next morning, my Mum was making coffee for breakfast and realized the entire row of kitchen tiles came off the wall. It was then we decided to do a little check up on the house. It was not given a clean bill of health by me though… The walls of every room is cracked, the toilets seats have also cracked, there’s something’s wrong with the pump in the toilet, one of the door of my sister cupboard came off. I told my Mum something has to be done to them and fast. It seems like the house is falling apart slowly after 30 years. We’re thinking of giving it a fresh coat of paint too, to mend all those cracks at the same time too.

I’m still playing around with the digital camera Benjamin lent me a few days ago. I wish I’ve have my very own digital camera one day. My family used to have one but my Dad brought it over to Vietnam with him. Anyway, I updated a new entry in my snapshots. I still have not yet figure out why the top image doesn’t load for some people and did for the others. It works for me though and the image is not that big. It’s about 43KB, so I’m still trying to find a solution to that. After looking through my coding, I tweak it slightly. I hope it works for everyone now. I updated some contents today. Pages that were updated where education, links in/out, joined and the art archive. I revamped the art archive so that the designs are categorized with some details about each artwork, I have also changed all the thumbnails to smaller size ones for quicker loading. Minor updates were done to most of the pages under soul.
