I’m home! It’s kind of late even though I’m suppose to be back in early June due to busy schedules after the exams. I had planned to put up a new layout this month but being a lazy ass, I’m still enjoying the last bits of my holidays before I start work. 
A list of what I’ve done the past few months (if anyone is interested):
- Went Macau and China for holiday after my exams
- Done up my first resume – This took me 4 days to complete!
- Dyed my hair brown
- Job search
- Went for my first interview
- Still trying to come up with a good draft for the new layout – I’ve something in mind but that might be my “shortcut” method of changing layouts again (AKA just changing the header and background)
- Watching drama series and animé
- Started tweeting again because my Twitter account is growing cobwebs
- Renewed dayna.me
- Renewed my flickr account
- Upgraded WordPress and all the plugins – Honestly, can anyone tell me the difference? I haven’t been reading up on this new version
I’ll be actively blogging again and I shall end this post with these gorgeous sunset photos I took at Labrador Park few weeks back. 
Fun, laughter, jokes and embarrassment are what you get if you put 4 girls (who are all bloggers) together. I meet up with some fellow Singapore bloggers, Ivy, Brenda and Cherlynn last Saturday during our monthly meetup session. Terry, our wonderful organiser couldn’t make it because he was sick. With one more guy, it would be a blast! We miss you Terry, hope you get well soon. We meet up at Relax Bistro at Somerset 313 for lunch and here’s a peek of what we had.

After a hearty lunch, Brenda suggested going to the flea market near by. As I’ve never been to a flea market, I gladly agreed, so did the rest of the girls. The last time I tried to go to a flea market, I spend 2 hours trying to find my way, got lost and never made it there in the end.
Come to think of it, I’ve done a couple of things I’ve never done before that day. I have never withdraw cash from an ATM machine nor have I ever been to a flea market before Saturday. I can explain myself. Let me see, the probability of Dayna losing her wallet is 10% and the probability that she will drop some cash when she opens her wallet is 30% which is about 40% in total and this is considered high risk. To mitigate the financial risk, it’s safer for her to bring lesser cash when she leaves the house. Sounds cool? 
Since it was my first time, I thought it was normal that I inserted the card in the wrong direction! Ivy helped me on that and Brenda even conducted an interview with me. I feel grown up to have finally used the ATM machine (lol).

Chewy has been hinting to me lately that he isn’t too fond of the online alias I have for him – Chewy. I thought Chewy sounds pretty unique but he just doesn’t like the sound of it. Chewy is conveniently derived from his surname – Chew. I haven’t actually used his given name in any part of my website/blog but people on my Facebook would know his name since it’s listed under my profile.
Those who aren’t familiar with my blog will wonder who Chewy is. That guy is the second most important man in my life after my father. I used to have a page dedicated to him on this site but I removed it during the major revamp last year. We have been together for nearly 5 years. In short, he’s a really simple and honest man. He always put me before himself. Rain or shine, he will be with me unconditionally. Though of course, there are times I feel like strangling him but those stories will be for another day.
Back on topic, he was convincing me to change a new alias for him but I’ve been using the alias Chewy for the past 1 year or so that even some of my frequent readers also refer to him as Chewy. The last time I talked to Terry in person, both of us refer him as Chewy too! I have thought of using part of his given name, Loong. Or maybe DD (Dear Darling)? Any suggestions or should I stick with Chewy? I really like the alias Chewy though.
