Yesterday was my last shopping trip before my common test in week 6/7. I have 4 test modules and I have not started any of them, this week is week 4. How scary is that? It’s freaking me out and I got to start my GST for IFA this weekend, either today or tomorrow. My first test is on the 3rd of June and my holidays to Malacca will start on 10th of June. I’m not sure whether I’m looking forward to the trip or not since the faster that day come, the lesser time I will have to study for my test. On the other hand, my shopping trip yesterday was fruitful. :err: Did I use the right word? Anyway, I got myself a new bag (Yes, another one
). This was by far the biggest bag I have own since it’s able to fit my A4 files and still have have loads of space for other stuff like my jacket etc. Honestly, this bag is huge. I hate carrying my files on hand because I always forgot to bring them out and left them on my table. -_- So, this bag will do the job nicely and I find it rather unique and vintage looking. The price tag looks rather “nice” too at $49.90. I got this at Far East. One of my girlfriend and him commented that the bags on the basement (or was it level 1?) was common and “aunty” looking.
Perhaps some? By the way, on a curious note, was anyone getting bored by all my shopping entries?
One thing funny about this bag is that both sides look the same, so in order to ensure that I carry it way I wanted to, with the zip in front, I hang a mini charm on the outside. Continue reading "The last shopping trip because of school"
I got my phone gmask at Plaza Singapura today. I took a long time to decide on the design and thank goodness he was patience. He was nice to pay for it as a gift. I choose a pink flowery design on both sides and the back of it with an additional layer of glitter (additional $10). I had actually wanted to have crystals on it but it is so costly at S$1.90 per crystal so I decided not to get it and I was very worried about it getting scratch and all that. It didn’t got any scratches and workmanship was an 8 out of 10. It was good but I am a perfectionist so I pick on a few of the mini flaws of the final product. He said that those flaws I picked on wasn’t obvious but it was to me.
One corner of it wasn’t really well done but it wasn’t obvious at all unless you are looking at it within 5cm. The circle part of the camera wasn’t really circle. Other than that I think it’s pretty.
We went to watch Mission Impossible 3 at the new cinema at Orchard today too. Very action packed and it was pretty good.
The cinema is beautiful and have a very Chinese oriented theme. I didn’t manage to get my bag though, there wasn’t enough time for shopping but we had lunch at Cafe Cartel and the good was all right. Expensive and nothing too special about it. The service charge was at 10% when we had to wait for more than 30 minutes for a set lunch when the cafe was only 30% full. I can’t imagine eating there when it’s packed! Continue reading "My Gmask Phone"

My Earrings Holder
To your right, my loot of the day! My pretty and precious earrings holder
I was dying to get it for weeks. In the picture is the final product after I hang up almost all my earrings, necklaces, my strawberry paper clips and the adorable kitten key chain to brighten it up. This holder can hold 96 pairs of earrings and it’s the last round one. The square one look too square for me.
It’s made of brass and have the curvy design at the top, really pretty and attractive, the curvy design can be used to hang necklaces too. I’m using slightly more than half of it and I love it on my desk so much, just looking at it makes me grin.
Plaza Singapura is selling at S$50 when Far East is only at $35! I didn’t realise I have that much earrings until I started hanging them up one by one.
The other loot of the day is the sample glass bottle I bought for our InE project. It’s a dollar each and quite costly in my opinion. We are planning to make our own sweets to save cost. It’s fun, we get to learn a new “skill” and it’s homemade sweets, who can resist those yummy delicious colourful candies?
About the shopping trip today, our first stop of the day is Parco Bugis. Me and him was early so went to Seiyu and walk around a bit. I asked him whether I can have lemon tea for lunch later, he say no because of my very high sugar level in my blood. Eh.. a little wouldn’t hurt? So, I played a trick on him and sneaked out of the shop and started walking around Bugis. He called me and for like the other half an hour, we were on the phone full of conversations like “Where are you?”, “You let me drink or not?”, “Don’t let”, “Okay, then you continue finding. Happy searching!”. It was pretty funny to think of it now, him running around in circles. Okay, I’m bad but it’s fun ya?
Then we went to Arab Street and the weather is so hot then the 4 of us are melting. We walked around in the hope of finding a place that sell metal tins. Obviously we didn’t find it in the end but I think it’s fun to go to places we’ve never been before and act like tourists. It’s really is fun! Or am I too easily satisfied? I would say I have fun today and I loved going to places I’ve never been before and I just walked down the street.
