I dropped by Comex IT Fair 2009 today at Suntec City. The place was packed even though it was a Friday. I guess it must be the school holidays. Anyway, I finally got myself a new backup baby – Seagate external hard disk 500GB for SGD 129 with 5 years warranty. This is my first external hard disk and it’s going to be very useful for transferring and backing up of data files.
Of course, I popped by John Little to grab the Nuxe Brightening Fluid and Kao Essential trial pack (shampoo, conditioner and treatment). The sales are ending this Sunday. How can I miss that?

Loots of the day!

Mr Postman dropped by for a visit today and I received 2 packages. One was from lovely Kimoko and the other was from Gingerdip. I won Kimoko’s #9 Giveaway last week. She was really nice and gave me some additional skincare and cosmetics goodies as well. As some of you know, I’m such a skincare & make-up junkie so I’m overjoyed to have so many new products to try out.

I love receiving packages in the mail!

I got my results today and I pass all 4 subjects. =D I’ve a morning class today and I login to check at 7am in the morning. Surprising, the results were already posted at about 2am. I got a message from my friend at 2am telling me that she has passed all her papers. I only saw the message the next morning when I woke up. Anyway, I was freaking out when I keyed in my particulars to get the exams results. My first try was denied as I keyed in the wrong candidate number.
Thank god the second attempt worked.
So here’s the results for my UOL academic year 2008/2009:
| Subjects |

Degree class equivalent for |
| Management Accounting |
70 |
First Class Honours |
| Corporate Finance |
68 |
Upper Second Class Honours |
| Microeconomics |
58 |
Lower Second Class Honours |
| Principals of Banking and Finance |
50 |
Lower Second Class Honours |
I’m really glad I pass my Banking and Finance, but wasn’t pleased with MA and CF. I could have worked just a little harder to get another 2 more marks and that would make so much difference. The Microeconomics paper was the easiest one I’ve sat for but I did not manage to do well for it.
I shall work even harder this year. I’m aiming for at least 60 marks in all 4 papers I’m sitting for this year. I wish to graduate with at least an Upper Second Class Honours.
On a side note, there’s a John Little Sales for card members from 1st to 3rd September. Thus, mum and I decided to pop by to check out the sales.
