A storm is brewing

Posted in: Daily Life

The wind woke me up at about 7.30 in the morning yesterday. My room was surprising dark and hence I jump out of bed to see this …

The first 2 photos were taken during sunrise and the rest were taken slightly after. I’m assuming those “grey things” in the first 2 photographs are the dark clouds. I have never seen anything like those before yesterday so I thought I’ll share. ^_^ Anyway, it was the right weather to be in bed so I went back to sleep after snapping those.

On a side note, I redid the design for the comments, breadcrumb navigation and finally put my library back online. I have done cross browsers checks for the comments design thus it should shows up correctly in the latest browsers. If anything is look wonky, please let me know. Tell me what you think of the new design as well, hope you like it! :halo: I was going to stick with the design from the Dear Diary layout but after a week, I realised that the comments doesn’t really match this new layout.

Let me just do a short advertisement for the Site Glamour Contest. ;) We currently have 13 participants and a few more sponsors will be added shortly. I’m hoping to have a few more participants so please do check out the contest page and join us for a chance to win some wonderful prizes. :spin:

There’s also a storm here in Philippines. The photos of the sky you took are scary although it’s still nice to stay at home and take a rest or do such relaxing things, hehe!

EEEP! I love the new layout!

anyways, I’ve never seen clouds like those in the first two photos either. It seems like it could be smoke but that wouldn’t make much sense.

I was thinking it might be smoke initially but like you said, it doesn’t make sense. Hence, I’m just assuming they are dark clouds although they certainly doesn’t look like clouds.

The sky looks pretty cool in the first two pictures, but scary at the same time. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a sunrise so orange/yellowish.

I love the design for the comments. You always have really great-looking comments! :P

Looks like a storm’s coming in those pictures. By the way, do you need any more sponsors for your contest? What’s in it for the sponsors?

The storm looks like something out of a film! XD
The breadcrumb navigation is cute, I love the little pink bunny. The new comment layout looks good too, it all matches nicely!

People seem to like those books by Sophie Kinsella; I haven’t read any! :P

I saw your photos on Flickr I think it was, and wow, those stormy clouds look quite nice in the pictures. Especially those smoky looking clouds. :O

It just reminded me a bit of the dust storm we had in Sydney!

Her books are quite an entertaining read. :)

It looks nice but I got a scare when I saw it yesterday. Oh, I read the news about the red haze issue in Sydney. It looks gorgeous even though I don’t think that’s suppose to be a positive issue right? :x

Haha, that’s true. It was so lovely but it was causing trouble to all the transport, and it was still looming around the next day. People’s cars were red.

And there was a man who walked his white dog and when he got home his dog was orange. XD

LOL! I think the dog one is so hilarious. People are still outdoors when the haze is so bad, I wonder if they have any difficulties breathing etc.

Thanks. Yup, I think this one suits the theme more as well. I was too lazy to bother about it last week. :P

I think the comments look good, by the way. I didn’t get to see them because I didn’t see any comments yet, but they suit this theme more than the other comment style you had. :)
