Christmas is here soon!!! :hearts: I’ve a special liking towards this festival and I’ve absolutely no idea why. Anyway, I still have not yet finish my Christmas shopping. I’m combining my Chinese New Year shopping together too. I went Bugis with Panda (my nick for my guy friend
) yesterday, actually Orchard too. My leg was breaking when I reach home, my end result was only a pair of black carpi’s with white vertical strips. I can’t remember since when I’ve a soft spot for 3/4 carpi’s. My Abercombie Blue Lace Tank Top arrived yesterday in the mail too, quite tight fitting though but it’s so pretty. I totally love it.
About the studs I’m making, it’s just a little profit making on my part to earn a little extra cash to recover back those I spend on all the shopping sprees. I love to DIY stuff anyway. I’m learning to make Cheese Cakes. Yummy Yummy
Those are my favourite.

The Golden Sailor
I promised photos of the studs I’ve make. These are only 2 of the designs. There’s only a pair of The Golden Sailor which I’ve actually made for myself as a Christmas gift
but it’s too big for me thus I sold it. Floral is my favourite out of those I’ve made, very vintage and sweet looking. I made 6 pairs, still have 2 left though. Thus, if anyone in Singapore is interested, do drop me an email.
I’ve so many things to do during these 2 weeks holiday. Did I mention that I’ve finish my 2 common test and am having a 2 week break? More about the test later, I’ve been wanting to drop by China Town, Little India or Arab Street during this 2 weeks in search for some DIY materials for my studs, hope to find something really special during the trip.
So, my FFA test went pretty badly. I totally forget about the cash balance part for my bank reconciliation. I was suppose to minus off the cheques payment and add the cash receipts to the ‘cash balance per business’ but I’m so dumb, I did the calculation to the ‘cash balance per bank statement’ instead. It’s 11 marks for this part. and this test is 20% of the entire module. I can’t believe I’ve been so careless. Lessons has taken up all my time that day, woke up at 6 in the morning and the test was 5 in the evening so I guess I was kind of tired and blur but there’s nothing I could do about it now.

Christmas Present
I just finish DIY-ing a tile as a Christmas gift for my friend. Got the idea when I saw someone selling that in school, but the ones they are selling are obviously so much nicer looking than mine. But since it’s my first try, I think it still looks presentable :ooh: It’s not that bad, is it? One good thing about painting on a tile is that it’s reversible with wet tissue
I love the tissue paper effect. I think I learnt that technique back in primary school while I was still drawing with crayons. It’s pretty good with paint too, but won’t work on paper. I ‘steal’ some glitter from my sister for that glittery and shimmering look and stick on some plastic pearl for decoration. :hehe: I love this but going to give it away as a gift so I manage to took some photos for memories sake =). If anyone of you are wondering where I got the tile from, it’s from under the sink in my kitchen.
I’ve made a new Christmas layout for the site. The second version of one of my previous layout. I use the same idea but this time with a different concept and design, with a little festival feel. I named this City Scape, I love the lighting effect for this one, the snow flakes and Christmas lights for the Christmas-y effect was drawn. There’s 2 scene for this layout as you can see on your left, one is the city scape in the day and the other is in the night. My first Christmas layout!!! My money is still draining, I’ve just ordered 2 camisoles, light yellow and pink, from a Taiwan spree, it’s so cheap and pretty. The main point is: It’s hard to find such good bargains in Singapore.

Lovely studs! I love DIY stuff because they always look unique to me, moreover, they make very meaningful gifts.
Arr.. Shoppping shopping! I can’t wait to shop but I have to save money first. -.-
I like this layout! Most of the Christmas layouts I have seen are either white, green, red or blue. This looks different, it gives me a happier Christmas feeling, and that Christmas is not just about snow and ice. Hehe, I love Christmas too, although I am not a Christian. XD

Oops, my second time commenting twice on the same entry. But I’ll like to point out that I love this Christmas layout very much. :P The colours used are amazing.

Thank you
Yup, that’s why I mentioned it’s the second version, with a different concept and design this time
I totally agree. Without money, shopping aren’t that fun, but I still enjoy window shopping nevertheless. Bugis Village is a fantastic place for shoppolics, the stuff there are much cheaper then those sold at big shopping malls. Oh well, enough of all those shopping stuff.

lol Really nice looking layout you have here right now.
I couldn’t help but notice that you also used some sort of city landscape effect on your layout when you went hiatus for a very long time… But yea, it’s really cool looking.
Christmas shopping is really, really fun when you have the cash! lol When I went there in Singapore, I felt bad for missing Little India.
Back then, I don’t even know about it yet… but I’ve been to China town though. Really cool for shopping… lol Bugis. :P Bought a lot there! Yesss… Christmas spirit thriving there. =)

Me too, but since it’s the holidays now, it’s my favorite passtime
Thanks Brenda
My house has just finish renovating, so my mum put the extra tiles under the sink, manage to steal 2 pieces she kept under there.

Wow, those are amazing looking studs. I love the designs. DIY items is a great way to pass time time and to engage in something constructive. Unfortunately, I cannot dedicate to it for long, especially when school starts.
The tile looks lovely. :P I am just wondering how did you actually manage to rip the tile from beneath your sink.
I thought they were held together by cement? (Okay, maybe the tile fell out. Heheh.)
