I’m back from the trip and am feeling exhausted. I arrived at about 6pm here and have only got the time to upload some photographs taken on the trip. Did anyone miss me when I’m gone? I was just joking. It feels already good to be back home. I was only gone for 8 days but it feel like months. The life there is so different from here and well, I couldn’t adapt, it’s a slow paced society I should say. But, the scenery there is stunning. There’s a lot of things to do now but I’m so tired and lazy so I’m leaving those chores for tomorrow.
So, regarding the trip, it’s a new experience for me. I have seen things that could never be seen in Singapore and got to interact with the people over there. Most of them were nice although there’s some communication problem because majority of the people living there can’t speak English. I found a lot of differences in the life styles and standard of living of the people in Hanoi and Singapore. One obvious thing was that almost every family there had their own vechicle and 19 out of 20 of them were motobikes or scooters. There’s no MRTs and their taxis are not in the form of cars but motobikes instead. Anyway, I need a rest, more stories next time.
