Our dearest Benjamin was extremely nice to offer to tutor me when he heard that I couldn’t catch up in my MM class. Let me start with the history of Benjamin. He’s labelled as a Maths professional by many of us. He was the sole reason how I managed to pass my Additional Maths during my GCE Ordinary Level examinations. We were constantly on the phone discussing how to solve equations back then.
5 years down the road, history is still repeating itself. I still need him to teach me things like Integration and Differential Equations. Anyway, Ben’s very patient with me since I’ve nearly zero knowledge in those topics now. I can’t remember when is the last time I did such complicated Maths questions. He didn’t ask for anything in return although my mum did stuffed him with lots of mooncake. =D What are best friends for?
At the end of our little tuition session, this was what he gave me.
It was drawn by Xue Qi whose actually Ben’s little sister. I hope I didn’t remember her name wrongly. She has got a nice name so I tend to remember it better. =p Some of my readers may find the above drawings familiar. It was actually from a rough sketch of the panda layout I planned to have (which evolved to Bim Bim) back in January this year. Isn’t her drawing fantastic? I think that it looks much better than the one I doodled. Maybe there will be a new artist in this world.
The rest of this post is nothing much but just showing a package I received recently. I love receiving mails as long as they aren’t outstanding bills!

I was so excited that I torn a hole in the package before taking a photo

I could’ve used a friend like Benjamin when I was in school, math was my worst subject
How nice of him to help you like that! And how nice of his sister to give you such cute drawings!
Glad you liked my photos btw
I live in such a small town it’s more nature than civilisation here… I’m actually often jealous of people living in big cities – you must have so much more cool stuff to see and do =D
And whoo, SGC has started! I’m so excited

Maybe I should start ordering things!

Awww…that’s a cute drawing! Xue Qi reminds me of my sister. She’s five and she likes to draw all the time. Whenever she gives me her drawings, I always feel all warm and mushy inside. =p

Thanks for the nice comment Dayna!
I’m glad the SGC has finally started. Yeah my Uni is huge, it looks cool from the outside but it is a pain going up and down stairs all day.
Your new haircut looks cute, I really need my hair cutting. My fringe is super long now! haha
I love it when packages finally come in the post. I ordered some manga a few days ago and it arrived this morning which was good because I’m impatient.

I quite like the footer! Although you have a lot of tags; I think it would look a bit better if you had the two parts of flickr/Twitter, but instead of Flickr/Twitter, have tags/flickr+Twitter (if you know what I mean).
Those drawings look lovely! And a lot like the ones you had drawn before. I think it’s really nice that you have a tutor who can continue and is willing to help you. On that note, I’ve always been terrible at maths; I’m glad I’m not studying maths in university. XD
AHAHA you tore a hole in the package. Good on you. =D
Your posts always make me want to buy things online for the fun of getting packages and opening them. :spin: :spin:

Oh, I reduced the number of tags shown to 60 already. I’m lazy to change it again. LOL! =p
The Maths I’m taking is an elective. I wonder what happen to me that day which cause me to transfer from ISO to MM.
It’s always fun getting packages in the mail, exciting as well! I love getting things online because it’s fuss free and I’m lazy to go to the malls these days because everywhere is packed.

Oh my god I love the footer even more cuter than before!!! So jealous!!
Aww I love getting post too

Maths.. *sighs* I can never understand that subject. That’s one reason why I transferred my university programme from Maths major to History major (but why I took Maths in the first place is another story. Lol.). That’s incredibly nice (and incredibly patient) of Ben/Benjamin too help you out with that subject. Such friends are hard too find. Lucky you! Haha!
The footer looks neat and lovely! But what else can I expect from you? *winks*

Wow, that’s nice of your friend to help you out. My boyfriend is a bit of a maths person too. But he doesn’t have patients with me. I fail at maths.
Those pictures are very cute! I wish I could draw.. :P I saw your pandas, they where pretty good.
