This layout was one of the design I had made when I was having a serious case of layout block. I had wanted a layout change after my vacation; it’s my mood that drives me to do that. It took me a whole day to code and get everything right. Seriously, I don’t really like this layout, it just doesn’t look right. The reason why I still put this layout up was because although it doesn’t look good, it still somehow or rather reflects my feelings. It could be considered one of my worse layout. The theme is colorful and full of colors (to brighten up my day, I’m feeling depressed).
Everything was drawn by me using Photoshop default brushes. The illustrations for this one is not great I know, it’s lacking in something but I have not figure out what is that yet. Overall, I’m not satisfied with this design. There was no “special” effect for the navigation this time, just plain colors, it’s a nice change once in a while. I find the colors clashing in a way too since I was using a combination of both warm and cool colors. It’s a similar version of the wallpaper I had made. Winged hearts are becoming my mascot soon. So, could I have some comments although I had predicted that negative comments will rule this time, I need some ideas on the errors and faults on this layout?
There’s quite a lot of section that needs updating on my site but I’ve no time so those will have to wait. I had been very busy with housework. I can’t be bothered looking at the chores on my to-do list. Mum’s not home and with a very and I mean it untidy and unorganized elder sister, I had to do all these stuffs.
To-do list
01. Dry clothes (they had been in the washing machine for 50 hours already), fold them and wash the rest of our clothes. I can’t believe 2 persons could have so many clothes to wash.
02. Vacuum and mop the house
03. Tidy up my room and the living room
My love for winged hearts has increased tremendously, thus, I pixel another version of the winged hearts for adoptions. Notice another one of those right at the bottom of my site? I added a set of Photoshop brushes for download, it’s a small set with scribles of hearts and messages.
