I know it’s unhealthy (for my bank account) but sometimes or rather most of the time, I really can’t help it!
After reading Bun Bun’s review on the Bourjois Contour Clubbing Waterproof Pencil Eyeliner, I was very tempted to get it – the blue is simply irresistible! I succumbed to temptation when I saw BHG having a 20% sale. It was about S$12 after discount.
Don’t ask me why I fell in love with blue and green. If you were to ask me a year ago, I’ll definitely tell you those were not my colours. Apparently, I thought otherwise now.
The rainbow-y eyeshadows from Manly were gifts from Kim when I went for a manicure with her last afternoon. Thanks darling!
She was previously into bright colours and now a neutral-fan. For me, it’s the other way round, I still love my browns (especially Urban Decay Naked Palette) but all girls need some chirpy colours once in a while.
These are so pigmented and it makes me happy just looking at them. I shall shower them with lots of love!

Here’s the express manicure Kim has done for me yesterday – OPI Holograms – very glittery and somehow screams “Christmas”.

I didn’t think they would look good on me before I tried them but somehow green and blue looks pretty good on me!
You never know until you try.

I wish I could pull off colored eyeliner, but I always stick to traditional colors like black and brown :P
I love your manicure, Kim did an excellent job! My favorite set was the pink and white one

I still love neutrals like brown and gold – they are still the perfect colours for any occasions!
But funky colours once in a while brightens up my day during non-working days.

I think its important to be able to self-indulge every once in a while – and you can make it fit into your budget! I’d love to see pics later of how you end up using those colours. I have some glittery eye shadows, but I find being asian its hard to figure out how to incorporate those colours in a way thats not over-the-top.
The OPI colours are amazing btw, I’ve never heard of the OPI “holograms” – I suppose they are supposed to be glittery?

I am still trying out the blues!
Yup, they are meant to be glittery – small rainbow particles.
