SingTel held an INQ mobile event for bloggers at Supperclub last night and I was invited by Ivy. I popped by with Liling and got to know a couple of Singaporean bloggers. Said hello to Brenda, Ivy, Claudia, Jacelyn, Krisandro and many others.
We chatted, played around with the INQ phone, had chocolate cakes for supper and mostly had fun!
By the way, this mobile is so cool. I really love the Twitter, Messenger, Facebook features and the weather widget. I like how I’m able to tweet “Hi, I’m lost at Bugis, help please?” and then wait for a few minutes for emergency help or “Hey everyone. I’m in town, anyone wants to meet up?”. Tweeting via SMS isn’t the best way since I can’t get any replies. The live contact list is also excellent because you wouldn’t have to upload individual photo for every contact, it’s updated live. There are many other functions as well but those are my favourites.
It’ll be launched in Singapore this Saturday on the 19th September so do check it out in SingTel stores. I think I’ll pop by Jurong Point to take a look this weekend!

INQ Mobile - On sale on 19 September

Introducing the INQ mobile

SingTel and Facebook cupcakes and chocolate cake in an ashtray
Yesterday was my first meeting with Brenda and Ivy.
Didn’t manage to take a photo with Ivy though but I’m sure there will definitely be chances in the future. Everyone was very friendly and I had a great time chit chatting with some of them especially Ivy and Brenda.

The above was taken by my old trusty Samsung i8 and the one below was taken by the professional photographer at the event. I have to admit mine has a really bad flash.

This photo looks so much better!
I finally got a hard copy of Ivy’s name card. I really love this design of hers. It’s going to be my motivation to design one for myself. I’ve been telling myself to draw one but I’m too lazy. It’s definitely on my to-do list now. :P

Business cards! I really need to make myself one

Oh wow those look wonderful. And such lovely features too. Makes me want to get a new cell phone or some other gadget. The cupcakes look delicious

I think he must have been shocked too, but his loss – he just walked in front of me – clearly I was in a rush!
Woah, that event is really amazing! You got to meet fellow bloggers!
I feel the same – I can tweet from my mobile via text message, but I cannot receive replies. It’s quite boring – I can tell people what I am up to, but I can’t see if anyone replies, until I get on a computer. XD
Ooh, they even had cake!
I hope you make a business card; you’ll have to show us the design.

Yup, I’ve the same sentiments. It’s boring not being able to see any twitter replies. Sure, you guys will be the first to know once I’m done drawing.

Oh yes, that person who talked to me is a girl. A savage girl. -_-. I’ve never met anyone in my life that would say such things. Even if my suck is worst than hers, I didn’t expect her to say such things. :O . I could tell that she wants to review my site because she kept begging and pleading.
Wow, those are lovely phones! I like the actual Twitter App rather than sending tweets via SMS too. It gives a much better feeling xD. I don’t think I’m getting any new phones on 19th September though. I already have one. Maybe I’ll wait another year?
Those cupcakes are so cute. Did you eat them are are they only available for display?
I’m glad you met your friends from other webites too. It is always hard for me to meet up with other web owners from other sites.
If you’ve finally finish a name card for yourself, be sure to send one to me. LOL. Your designs and illustrations are always creative and imaginative.

The cupcakes are edible. The top layer is made of sugar and it’s chocolates cake below. Thanks for the compliments!
