SingTel held an INQ mobile event for bloggers at Supperclub last night and I was invited by Ivy. I popped by with Liling and got to know a couple of Singaporean bloggers. Said hello to Brenda, Ivy, Claudia, Jacelyn, Krisandro and many others.
We chatted, played around with the INQ phone, had chocolate cakes for supper and mostly had fun!
By the way, this mobile is so cool. I really love the Twitter, Messenger, Facebook features and the weather widget. I like how I’m able to tweet “Hi, I’m lost at Bugis, help please?” and then wait for a few minutes for emergency help or “Hey everyone. I’m in town, anyone wants to meet up?”. Tweeting via SMS isn’t the best way since I can’t get any replies. The live contact list is also excellent because you wouldn’t have to upload individual photo for every contact, it’s updated live. There are many other functions as well but those are my favourites.
It’ll be launched in Singapore this Saturday on the 19th September so do check it out in SingTel stores. I think I’ll pop by Jurong Point to take a look this weekend!

INQ Mobile - On sale on 19 September

Introducing the INQ mobile

SingTel and Facebook cupcakes and chocolate cake in an ashtray
Yesterday was my first meeting with Brenda and Ivy.
Didn’t manage to take a photo with Ivy though but I’m sure there will definitely be chances in the future. Everyone was very friendly and I had a great time chit chatting with some of them especially Ivy and Brenda.

(Left to right) Brenda, Me, Liling
The above was taken by my old trusty Samsung i8 and the one below was taken by the professional photographer at the event. I have to admit mine has a really bad flash.

This photo looks so much better!
I finally got a hard copy of Ivy’s name card. I really love this design of hers. It’s going to be my motivation to design one for myself. I’ve been telling myself to draw one but I’m too lazy. It’s definitely on my to-do list now. :P

Business cards! I really need to make myself one

Glad you had fun at your event. It looks like it was a blast.
P.s. Thanks for the comment.

Wow! Social mobile. Seems really cool, almost like a handy netbook with all that online features for social networking site.
Aaah I need to get myself a business card too btw. Just in case next time I bump into any bloggers meeting, I could just shower them with my business cards. There there everybody you can visit my blog, the address is on my business card. =D

Yes! It’s features are fabulous. =D I’m hoping to get this one when I renew my mobile contract over the weekends. Hopefully my mum will allow me to get this if the price isn’t too steep.
I’m sure your card will look fantastic given your skill for drawing illustrations. Can I have one too? :P

Haha I see my namecard! So honoured to have it photographed! Thanks for the follow on Twitter

Wah… My Honour to accompany Dayna for her first blogger event…and I saw you drooling over the phone… Going
…
Dayna, you’re so lucky to have so many nice blogger friends! Ivy is like a little chatterbox, Claudia is a nice polite lady and Brenda is like a sweet school girl!! =D
You guys should organise more outings to help Dayna curb with her shopping addiction!!! Every time come to school and tell me you spend on this and that!
15 September, 2009 at 11:05 pm
Oh yea, the phone is quite attractive, I’m considering it if the price tag is good for a student like me. Yup, all of them are fabulous people!
Ivy and I make a good match, no? I’m a chatterbox as well. =D
Shopping is an addiction. School is stress and I need a way to relax which reminds me I’ve lots of homework to complete. o.O

I am a sweet school girl? o.O Hahaha.
Strangely, though – my own friends rarely deem me as one.

I quite enjoyed the chocolate cake/mousse thingy. Hope we get to talk the next time we meet!
16 September, 2009 at 12:44 pm
I guess I’m just not a huge fan of dark chocolates.
Sure, I’ll make sure I pop by the blogger’s meet up in the future.
15 September, 2009 at 4:49 pm
Wow! I hope I would be invited in blog events like that too, coz as you can see, I’m still just a noob with this whole blog thing. Hopefully someday, I’d meet all my blogger friends in person. =D
15 September, 2009 at 1:17 pm
Wow, this made me miss my blogger friends when we were still able to hang out and be at blog events hehe..
I miss it hehe

Hey Dayna! It was nice meeting you and Brenda for the first time! Had a good time chatting with you guys! Hope you and Li Ling had a good time at the event too. =D
Anyway, we definitely need to do lunch / coffee one of these days (after F1 o.O )

Ooh, I look tanned! Haha.
And yes, real motivation to start designing name cards. That, on top of a redesign for my site. It’s becoming so stagnant that I can see algae growing on it. Hur.
It was great meeting you girls too! Bloggers’ outing coming right up!
15 September, 2009 at 2:53 pm
I looked like a lobster. LOL! Oh yea, I’m so looking forward to the next blogger’s outing!
18 September, 2009 at 2:47 am

I was so eager to blog about the event before heading off to bed. :P Sure, I’ll definitely be giving them around the moment I get it printed. :spin:
