Mr Postman dropped by for a visit today and I received 2 packages. One was from lovely Kimoko and the other was from Gingerdip. I won Kimoko’s #9 Giveaway last week. She was really nice and gave me some additional skincare and cosmetics goodies as well. As some of you know, I’m such a skincare & make-up junkie so I’m overjoyed to have so many new products to try out.

Do you know that there’s a new magazine in Singapore? I happened to know it from Kimoko’s blog. My TLB (My The Luxury Booklet) is a new magazine whichi s similar to CLEO and they are having a roadshow at Bugis this week. I purposely drop by to get a copy. =p One thing I really like about TLB is that it doesn’t just show the product advertisements there but tell us why the products are good.

It comes with a bunch of goodies. There’s a packet of green tea as well but Chewy drank it on the spot before I even have the chance to take a photograph of it. 
There’s the new BodyShop lip stick, Complete contact lens solution, Lioele mask, Hankook product’s samples etc. It’s quite worth it for SGD 6.

I always have problems with PNGs and file size. when I make icons or something small, I save them as PNG because it’s not as bad as having a large PNG. I prefer optimised JPEGs although some screens don’t really display JPEGs properly.
Wow, you must have been so excited to get all that in the mail! I love getting any kind of mail, even if it’s just a letter.

I remember reading a few CLEO magazines. Not really my thing, but they’re interesting to read every once in a while. Too bad Chewy had all the tea! XD Gotta love samples though.

I haven’t encountered any problems with displaying JPG files so far. PNG might have a transparency issue on older browsers. I now using a Photoshop trick so that my GIF looks like a PNG on my layout. It’s difficult to get individual images with shadows to display nicely on layouts unless we are using PNG.
I love receiving mails too as long as there are not bills.

Congrats! You know what if I get packages in my mail I’d get really excited and tear the paper in bits (cos I don’t have the patience when it comes to packages lol)

Me too, I’m really excited when receiving packages in the mail. But I always take a photo of it before ripping the packaging off, some of them are wrapped up too nicely. :P
I haven’t tried any of Benefit’s products before. This is a good time for me to try. Seems like it’s really good huh?

My mother uses Benefit products too so I can leech off from her most of the time haha. I really like the lip buffer, I think the product is called Dr Feel Good? I think
If you have dry lips like mine ( 
) it smooth-ens your lip surface, much like a nail buffer except you’re buffing your lips

Oh wow. I absolutely love getting packages and stuff in the mail. I’m going to have to check those sites out. I’ve been entering and entering different things trying to win something, haha.
The magazine is cool. I’m a little lost though? Did you go pick it up somewhere or you order it and get that stuff or..? Haha.

Aw, he-he. Actually, you can do anything with the bear template: Pixel, vector, scribble or just doodle away. Anything that involves opening some sort of graphic editing program.
I just downloaded a quite pretty pixel font yesterday, which I ended up using on the 1st place winner’s nametag.

I agree. They sure have good marketing techniques. Without the goodies, it’s kind of expensive. The magazine isn’t that thick even though it has some substantial content.

Wow congratulations! The prizes that she offered are really good! I actually want to be a skin care junkie I’m just well lazy. And all these products! I love them! I’ve never heard of that magazine, it sounds cool, wow Singapore has some great stuff XD
