Sissy and I

I tweeted about my lack of sleep on the day of the trip. My flight to Hong Kong was 6.30am in the morning and I was supposed to wake up at 3am. However, I didn’t sleep the entire night at all. I’m still wide awake at 3am and switched off the alarm before it even rang. :lame: Too excited? Maybe. I haven’t been going overseas for vacations for a long time.

Look at my panda eyes in the photos. Sigh. I didn’t bother to bring any under-eye concealer on my trip as well. I went make-up-less and wore my trusty glasses during the entire trip. I’m still not fond of wearing contacts for the entire day, plus I’m too lazy to put them on. We check-in at Changi Airport Terminal 1 at about 4am. It was pretty empty then and not much shops were open. T_T We had breakfast at Ya Kun only because there wasn’t a lot of choices. Breakfast was okay considering my lids were threatening to close. This is a bit random but seriously I hate travelling on planes. I feel like my heart is going to jump out of me when the plane is taking off. :frown: The last time I took a plane was about 3 years back (to Macau)?

Anyway, please be forewarn that the rest of this post would be image intensive. Hope you enjoy the photographs! =D

I think I was lucky the day I took the photo above. My mum wanted to take a photo in front of this lantern stall so we stopped there for a minute or so before moving off. Right behind me was 2 Japanese tourists taking photographs as well. After taking the photograph for my mum, I walked off and the 2 Japanese tourists stopped at the exact spot where I was standing 2 seconds ago. Guess what happened next? Someone threw an entire bucket of water (I’m assuming it’s water) down and the Japanese tourists were drench. Their camera was wet as well. I was lucky to have walk away fast enough. :lame:

    Hello,
Im planning a trip to HK on xmas day.If its not too much of a burden, can you email me on the weather, and pricing for Citygate? Too excited on the trip and need to plan cash ;) )) Thanks so much..

I’m sorry but I’m not too sure of the weather either since I seldom go in December. I think the weather should be pretty cold then, perhaps you can google about the weather in Hong Kong. I seriously cannot remember the price for Citygate either, you meant the transport fees to travel to Macau right? I think it’s about HKD 100+ per adult.
