As promised, this is part II of my photos from the Hong Kong & Macau trip last month. Looking at these photographs a month later, I have to say I miss going on holidays. Living in a small city for such a long time can be boring.

Coast of Macau

This was just to test my camera zoom :P
The Venetian Macao

On our way to The Venetian Hotel

When I first stepped into the hotel

The lovelies in my family

This place is gorgeous!

This clock is one of it's kind

Beautiful Architecture

How can you not like this place?

Paintings on the ceilings

It's like a small European town

I'll love to sit in one of those boats

One of the boats

I really admire this guy for doing his job so well
Macau Fisherman’s Wharf

Empty place - It was raining that day

Roman lookalike building - I took a photo of this 4 years ago as well

English town at Fisherman Wharf

Beautiful but empty

I love this hallway

Shop houses

Salute!

The pretties in my family
Historical Centre of Macau – Da San Ba

It's a crowded place

Church

My sister sure has funny poses

Ruins of St. Paul's

The Sacred Ruins of St Pauls Church

Empty back alley

I think this is called the food street?

Take a look at those signboards

Night view of Da San Ba
Night scenes of Macau

Streets of Macau

The lightings of the hotels are so beautiful

The lightings changes pattern every second

My first reaction when I saw this was WOW!

Would the ones in Singapore be as beautiful?

Wow! Macau looks really great as a tour destination.
I should tell my parents to visit there someday. Btw, Canon PowerShot SX10 IS performance seems really great on low light condition. Hmm I am wondering which one would be better if compared to Lumix LX3.. =D *I should check the dpreviews then*
Nice pictures, Dayna!

It’s a great place to visit for a few days.
Uhmm, actually I haven’t had time to learn how to do a manual configuration for night shots so I just switch it to the “night mode” settings. :P I haven’t tried Lumix before but I think I do have a friend who has a Lumix and the night shots are pretty good as well.

Macau looks so pretty!! I’ve never been there before
someday, someday…
If you are itching to travel again, you can always go to different parts of malaysia (I forgot the names) where you can scuba dive, etc. or better yet, Taiwan!!!! -cheaper than HK- hurhurhur..

Shopping at Macau isn’t fantastic although it has some of my favourite shops – Watsons, SASA and Bourjois (all can be found at Da San Ba). Prices are similar to Hong Kong but due to the slight exchange rates, pricier products are actually slightly cheaper in Macau.
There’s nothing much to shop at Venetian. Almost everything are branded goods but check out Lush if you are there. I love their soap.

Beautiful pictures… makes me even more excited for my trip to Asia!
10 September, 2009 at 10:59 am
Thanks. Which part of Asia are you going?

The Venetian in Las Vegas looks exactly the same! For a second I thought that’s the one you went to :P

I haven’t been to the one in Las Vegas but I heard it’s exactly the same as well!

Wow, those pictures are amazing! It always bothers me though when clocks get the roman numeral four wrong
it’s not like it’s ever in a different spot, why change it?
9 September, 2009 at 9:17 pm
You are so observant. It should be IV if I’m not wrong?
9 September, 2009 at 6:51 pm
Thanks for the comment Dayna! Made me smile.
The summer is defo for relaxing.
That trip looked brilliant, your photos are great. I love how the city at night is all lit up with neons (it reminds of New York). I also would love to ride in one of those little boats!

Haha, the banner is up. But the banner that beat mine is youtube.com/juicytuesday, on her page. I didn’t think mine was amazing, but I thought it was better than the one who one :\ Oh well.
Hopefully you get more time

Oh my goodness, those pictures are absolutely amazing. I’m sure they obviously don’t do the place justice. It’s so cool to see the little tiny roads and I love the boat pictures. Wow, I’m just blown away, that’s absolutely beautiful. What kind of camera did you use?
9 September, 2009 at 6:17 pm
The actual place is a thousand times more beautiful and stunning than the photos.
I use Canon PowerShot SX10 IS.
9 September, 2009 at 3:48 pm
That is an AMAZING trip. Partly owing to your photographing skills too though.
9 September, 2009 at 4:40 pm
Nah, I don’t have good photography skills actually. I’m still learning and mine is nothing compared to those taken by Teddy. :P
