hey I found your site by googing "blogshop spam". Yes they are soooo irritating. I have been spree-ing at livejournal communities like sgspree, _spreee etc for almost 10 years. Throughout the years, I have changed up to 10 email address and every single of them are being spammed by the blogshop owners! I only joined a couple of mailing list so I definitely know which mailing list did I join. I found out most of the blogshop owners got the email from there. I only used those email address to spree, and nothing else. I have another personal email for friends, school and work (luckily it is spam-free!). I didn't advertise it at any forum as well. A couple of years agom, I found a website which allow anyone to get the email address posted via the comments by simply entering the spree URL. Unfortunately, I lost the link. I guess that's how the blogshop owner got our email address.

I get a whole load of spam from all sorts of places. I find that when I sign up to forums I'll start to get spam.

Blog shops seems to be really popular now. I see many people selling things using blogs specially blogspot. I don't buy from them only if I know the person and they're just selling things they've made or old stuff of theirs.

It's so annoying when you get spam from things you haven't even subscribed to.

Arghhh spam! At least you get those from those shops, I get weirder spams gack!!

It is weird how they'll send you these even if you dind't subscribe for them. I know some shops there but they don't send unless you're subscribed.

Ugh, spam is so, so annoying. I seem to get a lot in my emails, ALL of my emails. Maybe because I display them on my site? But I get all this spam from websites I don't even know.

I have to agree with you - if you're spamming your potential customers, it's quite deceitful and actually deters anyone from showing any sort of interest in what they may be offering.

I don't feel like my privacy is respected at all, but I don't think a lot of the spam I get have that sort of message at the end anyway. They simply tell me that I can unsubscribe, but it really annoys me because I did not subscribe in the first place.

I can often be very sure, if the email makes it to my inbox, that it is spam. There is an obvious list of recipients in the To: field and they have made no effort to hide the emails. I find this all very unethical. O_o
