I put my first illustration of pandas up for sale 3 days ago and I’m glad to announce that it has been sold to dear Hannah.
Thanks Hannah for bringing the pandas home. I’m looking forward to what you’ve planned out for them.
On an extremely random note, I applied for a transfer of class from Information System & Organisations to Management Mathematics yesterday. I made the decision during my ISO class. I have absolutely no idea what the lecturer was talking about. The tons of theories are just piling up and killing me. It was a quick process, I just filed up a white form, paid 20 bucks and I rolled right out of the class into another’s. I didn’t roll out literally of course. =p
Anyway, I’m still looking for more contestants for the Site Glamour Contest. If you’ve a website and are interested to know more friends and get your site recognised, please consider joining the contest.
I’m also looking for more topics for the contest discussion, so feel free to drop your suggestions here.

Lovely layout as always, Dayna
Gotta love the pictures at the side as well. I’m not surprised that your illustrations got sold right away, you’re AWESOME at making them! Keep up the good work! Go go go! Can’t wait to see more of your works in the future!

*pictures Dayna rolling through the classroom door* :P
That’s nice for Hannah. It is a truly lovely drawing.
I’d submit my site, but it’s soooooooo far from being glamorous.

For the contest, it’s not all about the design, it focuses on writing and other aspects as well. Glamorous is just a title and a name. Maybe I should change the contest name next time. =p I hope to receive your submission soon.

It’s not? Well then I’ll have to tidy up my design (it looks like crap in IE 6 :P)
*has newly formed resolve*

Definitely not. There’s quite a significant weightage in the discussion and “debate” session of the contest. Design is only one part of the contest. I’m hoping to find some good writers and bloggers from this contest as well. As we all knows, a website is not just about the design. I don’t like how the usual Site of the Month is dependent only on the popularity and design of a site.
On a side note, my site looks like crap in IE 6 as well. Don’t worry about that! =p

But I DO :o! It’s a matter of principle! I’d get so much flack at work if it were a client’s site.

yay! congrats on selling your first illustration! make some more!! I wish I had been able to buy it but well, as mentioned before, I can’t do any online purchasing/transaction
too bad, huh?
Management Mathematics? what’s that? is it related to accounting or something? :s

I definitely will be drawing some more illustrations.
Hmm… I haven’t attended any classes for that subject yet. I missed 2 lessons. I think it’s like advanced Maths and Statistics.
4 September, 2009 at 10:35 pm
OH.MY.GOD. Maths and Statistics. Definitely the two things that I’d like to stay away from. I failed in those two subjects and that’s one of the reason why I’m doing social arts now

Awh, thank you =D There was actually a problem viewing it in Firefox and I think Safari, but a friend fixed it for me :] It looks a little different in IE and Firefox, but nothing big. I love your layout
Yeah, I just recently got into cosmetic blogs, mainly cosmetic videos – on Youtube. I’ve been watching them for weeks now. I’m trying to sell make up from my blog through a thing I signed up for so that I can afford to get make up. I eventually want to start doing my own Youtube videos
3 September, 2009 at 12:05 pm
I don’t have the time to watch those youtube videos but I would love to learn some new techniques for applying makeup. I’m eyeing the Sigma travel brush set in pink.
The cosmetics from the shop you linked on your blog looks good. I’ll definitely check them out over the next few weeks when I’ve the time. School has been so busy recently with all the transfer of classes and what not. I’m looking forward to more cosmetics reviews from you. Best of luck with it!

I’m sure it was exciting selling your first illustration! Good luck to many more!
*picturing you rolling out of class, lmao*

Yay! Congrats on selling your first illustration Dayna! Congrats to Hannah for owning a “Dayna Original” too!
You should’ve rolled out “literally”, that would be hilarious :P lol!
3 September, 2009 at 11:36 am
LOL! Thanks. I think “Dayna’s Originals” sounds good! I couldn’t help laughing when I read that. =D
My lecturer would have thought I was crazy if I really did that. =p
