It’s no hidden secret that I do most of my shopping online from clothes to casual accessories to cosmetics. I rarely get my clothes offline – prices online are more competitive, more variety (some blogshops do bring in exclusive manufactured pieces), the comfort of shopping in my own room and the ease of payments. I would like to share one of my current favourite blogshops for clothings today – The Closet Lover.
Founded by 2 sisters, Bret & Bree in 2008, The Closet Lover features a good mixture of styles to suit everyone – chic, bold, vintage and classy. I have purchased numeral pieces from them and their customer service has never disappoint me – very friendly, polite and prompt replies to emails usually in the same or next working day.
I have only compliments for their product quality, not to mention some of their pieces are very unique and exclusive only to their brand. As compared to most other blogshops, majority of their clothings are available in a variety of sizes ranging from XS to L. This should be good news for some who doesn’t fall under the typical “Singapore Free Size” category which is about a UK 6 – Small 8. I do hope that they will be bringing in more bottoms which are suitable for work. How’s gorgeous tops without matching bottoms?
For those not residing in Singapore, you should be glad to know that The Closet Lover accepts international orders; just drop them a message and they will be more than happy to advise you on the postage cost. Frequent updates can be found on their Facebook with regards to the latest launches/promotions which I stalked frequently.
Lastly, they have also very generously offered my dear readers a special discount, simply quote “Dayna” in your orders to get S$1.50 off your purchase.
So, have you shopped at The Closet Lover before? How was your experience? Share your loots with us!

Kindly note that this is not a sponsored review. I am writing purely because I had an enjoyable shopping experience with them.

DAYNA OMG I MISSED YOU AND YOUR BLOG! omg! I’m putting you back up on the links! hahaha Thanks so much for finding me again! >:D<
I love shopping online too! it was in my 2nd year college I think when I became an addict but not so much anymore. I don't really shop for clothes online though because I need to try them on first XD
That shop you featured is AWESOME! If I were thinner a bit I'd buy from them. haha Cute clothes!

I miss you too!
I’m lazy to try for clothes so I love getting them online. They actually do have a range of sizes from UK 4 to UK 10/12 so most shouldn’t have issues with the sizing!

Bret and Bree have an amazing style! I think its amazing you are promoting fashion/style by small business entrepreneurs without sponsorship or endorsement. It means more to me personally because I know its something you actually like!
My worry about shopping online is I’m afraid about sizing. Unfortunately in Canada, sizes are nonspecific – small, medium and large are all different between stores, because of “vanity” sizing. Although it would be nice to know my specific size!

Yea, I love their style!
I don’t see the point in writing about something eg. certain fashion brand when I actually don’t like their stuff. How can anyone do that?
All Singapore blogshops comes with measurements for all their pieces. After buying online for so long, I will more or less have an idea of what sizes I can fit into. Measure a few pieces of your tops and take the average.

Their clothes are gorgeous. I’ve already found a few favourites among their many cute tops. Ah, if only I had a credit card, I’d probably never go out of the house again.
They do all the photoshoots, managing etc. by themselves? Impressive.

They hired a photographer who does the editing as well, I’m pretty sure.

I absolutely love TCL! I’ve followed them since their early collections(since C30+ or so) and I’ve seen how they’ve blossomed over the collections!! haha and they’re coming out with so many collections lately featuring so many of their exclusively manufactured items, how can I not love them? On top of that, TCL’s Facebook page is the only blogshop page that I constantly visit, hoping for a new update whenever I’m on their page, and I love how they always surprise me with new sneaks. I can go on forever about how much I love them, but I’m gonna stop here :’))))

Wow! I’ve actually only known about them recently. Their styles suits me a lot! Most of the time, I find at least 1 or 2 pieces I love in every collection.
You meant how can WE not love them?
I hope they will be bringing in more bottoms though. They have super gorgeous tops but I need more pants to match for work!

I absolutely love online shopping. I didn’t fall in love though until I got h own debit card. The only downfall is the wait and having to pay extra for shipping and handeling.
I’ve always made purchases from known stores though. Never knew about bkigshops until now! I checked out The Closer Lover and I LOVE it! I’ll definitely have to find out about your other favorites.

Shipping and handling is not that bad because most of the online blogshops come with discount codes (via subscribing to their newsletter etc) to get free local postage.
Shopping at blogshops is like finding treasures. You have to slower find the right one that suits your style, taste and price. They are also generally cheaper than the branded ones and do no compromise on the quality.
I will be blogging about some of my other favourites in the upcoming months. Stay tune!
