Chewy has been hinting to me lately that he isn’t too fond of the online alias I have for him – Chewy. I thought Chewy sounds pretty unique but he just doesn’t like the sound of it. Chewy is conveniently derived from his surname – Chew. I haven’t actually used his given name in any part of my website/blog but people on my Facebook would know his name since it’s listed under my profile.

Those who aren’t familiar with my blog will wonder who Chewy is. That guy is the second most important man in my life after my father. I used to have a page dedicated to him on this site but I removed it during the major revamp last year. We have been together for nearly 5 years. In short, he’s a really simple and honest man. He always put me before himself. Rain or shine, he will be with me unconditionally. :) Though of course, there are times I feel like strangling him but those stories will be for another day.

Back on topic, he was convincing me to change a new alias for him but I’ve been using the alias Chewy for the past 1 year or so that even some of my frequent readers also refer to him as Chewy. The last time I talked to Terry in person, both of us refer him as Chewy too! I have thought of using part of his given name, Loong. Or maybe DD (Dear Darling)? Any suggestions or should I stick with Chewy? I really like the alias Chewy though. =(

Have you ever heard of a drama played out on an online blog? I first heard of this online drama last month when I was invited to the sneak preview of Not So Secret Lives: Crossroads. So, what is this all about?

Not So Secret Lives (NSSL) tells the story of 2 youths Trey and Jesse and the friends around them as they come to grips with the growing role sexuality plays in their lives. What sets this story apart is the fact that it is told through a series of blog entries by the 2 main characters.

Not So Secret Lives: Crossroads is a continuation of season 1 which sees our protagonists, Trey and Jesse, thrust into the mix themselves. A seemingly routine boys’ night out for Trey leads to a downward spiral of his relationship with Jesse. This season, the characters explore how harmless fun can lead to harmful consequences.

The Not So Secret Lives Of Us

So here goes, Trey went partying and ended up in the motel. I won’t divulge what he has done so check out their blog on http://notsosecretlives.com to find out. In my opinion, Trey have made a mistake but what’s done is done. He should be focusing on fixing and solving the problem. If you really love someone, there’s no secrets. Speaking from the perspective of a female, I think she would feel more hurt if she finds out what happen from anyone other than Trey. He should definitely be honest to Jesse and tell her about it (and it’s a good thing he did).

The incident has form a crack in their relationship and has Trey doubting his own health condition. It’s no joke when it comes to issues like HIV, not to mention the huge amount of emotional stress that comes with it. It will affect him for his entire life. His actions and its consequences are irreversible. Is it worth it to exchange a night of fun for countless amount of stress and problems in the future? I really don’t know whether Jesse will forgive Trey for what he has done. I’m pretty sure it takes a lot for a person to trust someone again.

One advice to all the guys out there including Trey, know your limits! If you can’t drink, don’t. It just take a little more self control to avoid making such a serious mistake. So think twice!
