I went Macau-ing again

Posted in: Memories

Yours truly went Macau-ing again last week even though I am definitely no fan of the smoky casinos or uncles dressed in Hawaii-looking shirts. This opportunity was presented to me as an “on-the-house” birthday trip sponsored by dearest daddy. A break from work while I step into the 23rd year of my life doesn’t sounds too bad seriously! ;)

A huge photo collage of the dishes I’ve tried at Macau. :)

Please be forewarn that the next half of this post will solely be on commenting on the interior designs of the hotels. There’s nothing much to blog about except their food and impressive architecture. ;)

Street Shopping

We weren’t exactly shopping but more of taking a leisure walk around the town area. It’s only been a year since I last went there during my “Graduation Trip” and there wasn’t much of a change except the place was noisier and definitely more crowded. The weather wasn’t helping either as temperature soars to about 32 degrees; pretty much like Singapore except it was much less humid. :green:

Back from the dead

Posted in: Daily Life, Website

Aloha! I was invisible (went MIA) from the web community since last November/December. Well, to keep things short, I took a much needed break to socialise in the “real world”. :?: Surprisingly, I managed to keep to the 6 months time frame I had given myself to chill, relax and simply not think/code/draw (except when I’m working of course). I was still active on Facebook and occasionally on Twitter though.

My Photoshop was also collecting dust and spiders during the past half a year. I suppose this “Welcome back from the dead” layout isn’t one of my best but at least it’s something new. =p As usual, there isn’t any major changes to the overall structure of the layout. I did not carry out any cross-browser compatibility test due to the lack of time. It will be good if you can let me know if you notice any issues.

Peace - The New City

Short updates of what happened during the past 6 months:

  • Permed my hair for the second time!
  • Popped by Taiwan for the first time in early May
  • Officially graduated from UOL Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance with Second Class (Upper) Honours
  • Pampered myself with new gadgets: Canon S95 and the iPad 2
  • Lots of shopping trips with mum and my lovely girls

As the saying goes, a picture speaks a 1,000 words…

1000 words of the past 6 months

1000 words of the past 6 months

I look forward to getting back to blogging soon. I hope.

Tadaima! I’m home!

Posted in: Daily Life, Website

I’m home! It’s kind of late even though I’m suppose to be back in early June due to busy schedules after the exams. I had planned to put up a new layout this month but being a lazy ass, I’m still enjoying the last bits of my holidays before I start work. :surprised: A list of what I’ve done the past few months (if anyone is interested):

  • Went Macau and China for holiday after my exams
  • Done up my first resume – This took me 4 days to complete!
  • Dyed my hair brown
  • Job search
  • Went for my first interview
  • Still trying to come up with a good draft for the new layout – I’ve something in mind but that might be my “shortcut” method of changing layouts again (AKA just changing the header and background)
  • Watching drama series and animé
  • Started tweeting again because my Twitter account is growing cobwebs
  • Renewed dayna.me
  • Renewed my flickr account
  • Upgraded WordPress and all the plugins – Honestly, can anyone tell me the difference? I haven’t been reading up on this new version

I’ll be actively blogging again and I shall end this post with these gorgeous sunset photos I took at Labrador Park few weeks back. :)
