I’ve drawn a rough sketch of the next layout of AmourChaleur (click on the thumbnail to view the full size). I have named the theme “Panda Land” :heart: . This is just a rough sketch of what I had in mind. The edges are kind of rough as well. I was actually trying to do a sketchy doodle. But I guess the idea didn’t work. I know the lollipop looks distorted and weird (still trying to redraw that) . It would take months (tentatively at around April to June which is still a long time away) to complete since I think I might recode the entire layout, but I’m in no hurry. Is anyone bored of the current layout already? I think the next one would have lesser colours, the current colour scheme I had in mind for the next layout is a combination of the following colours: pink, red, green, yellow, black, brown and white. What do you think?

I seriously feel that I need more than 24 hours a day, 48 would be good. I still haven’t started preparing for my exams and I should be doing it right now. -_- Right, I’m going to start tonight by finishing my MA tutorial for Wednesday and then start my CF Chapter 2 on Wednesday. I have only 7 weeks. I shall draw my moods and happiness graph this weekend, Cecelia has given me permission to use her idea :P . It’s torturing trying to study now. And with Chinese New Year around the corner, it’s too hard for me to concentrate. My mind is always wandering off thinking about what clothes to wear for CNY, what decorations to get for the living room, and mostly thinking about how fun it would be! :heart:

And some good news … Missy has been accepted into the QBee again after 4 long years! I spend a few hours putting up my new quilt. It’s my favourite animal – The Panda! I’m looking forward to meeting the bees and their beautiful quilts and maybe at the same time learn a few pixeling skills from the masters.

There’s still lots of things to be updated and change. Quite a number of the pages are broken.

• Upload blog photos from backup
• Install gallery plugin and upload all the graphic back
• Update all pages with broken links, plugins ETC.
• Finish up the footer graphic
• Update outdated content
• Style comments

That’s all folks! I’ll be back blogging as soon as I manage to finish the above.

And did I tell anyone how much I love the new WordPress 2.7? The interface is so much better than 2.6.5 and I love the threaded and paged comments (but I still can’t get the alternate comments to work), 2 lesser plugins to use with those 2 built-in to WP. I can upload blog photos without logging in to FTP as it comes with an easy-to-use image uploader with captions and all the styles are done automatically. How lovely is that? :heart:
