Haw Par Villa
Haw Par Villa is a place in Singapore which was filled with tourists and visitors a decade ago. But now, it’s just a deserted place; lifeless and forgotten. My parents brought me there when I was 5. My memories of the place was fuzzy and I couldn’t recall much but we did took some photographs there. The place was huge and there was lots of activities going on. Everyone was walking around taking photographs and the kids were given balloons. That was how the place was like 16 years ago. I brought mum there yesterday as it has been a really long time since she last went there. The entire place was empty and we were the only ones there. This was not how I remembered it to be.

I gave myself another slack day which added on to my 3526436 number of “days without studying” by hanging out with Chewy at Vivo City today. We took so many snapshots of ourselves. It’d been a long time since we last took so many photographs together.

We love taking photos!

I sneak off to Vivo City yesterday to watch Happy Feet, an extremely adorable movie for all ages so if you need a good laugh and entertainment, I strongly advice you to watch that. Anyway, I’m struggling with my common test which starts on next Saturday. Dayna is dying for the Christmas holidays to come although I haven’t got ready gifts. -_- On the list would be Mum, Dad, Sis, my buddies, him and I think that’s about it. By the way, anyone tried watching movies at Vivo? The queue is terrible, it stretch all the way to the Comics Collection shop yesterday. Thank goodness there was an AXS machine there and we got our tickets there to save the god-knows-how-long queue, but there was a booking fee of S$1 but I felt that it was worth it compared to queuing up at the booth.
Thanks for all the comments on the new layout, much appreciated. But it’s still incomplete has I still have some things in mind to add but haven’t found the time yet so be prepared to see m ore changes to it. On the other hand, I’m rather surprised that there are still people reading my blog since I haven’t been updating for quite some time due to school and slight bit of laziness. Behold my dallies, I’m coming!
Okay, that comes out quite lame but I’ll be active here once again. I got back my “blogging mood”!
Back to some site issues, my contact form has been spam for quite some time so I was wondering if anyone has a solution to it. I am using a WordPress plugin for it and any other recommedation of better plugins with spam protection?
