No, I didn’t visit Bangkok but my Sissy did. And these are what she bought back as gifts for me.
Really adorable right? The pink dotted bunny is called Whimmy. She’s not a cry baby but I think it’s a nice name for her. A female? Yup, just because she’s pink!
Maybe I’ll make her the big star in my next layout. Anyway, I hung it on my bag and it looks like it’s bouncing when I’m carrying my backpack around. Oh yes, Dayna brings a backpack to school, it’s huge and spacious. The next one is a clothes hanger with my favourite animal, the panda. It’s more like a miniature one for hanging papers and lastly the keyring with my name imprinted on it.
I saw a new novel series House of Night1 at Popular bookstore about Vampires. It was displayed under the International best sellers so I grabbed one and read through the synopsis. It looks like the kind of book I would enjoy reading hence I got the first book of the series, Marked (added it to my library as well).
Does the cover reminds you of Twilight? No matter how I look at it, it screams “Twilight”. Chewy thought it was Twilight when he had a quick glance at the cover as well. Does all vampires novels look like this?
I am still waiting eagerly for the results of the WordPress Design Contest, I hope I manage to squeeze into the top 10 position though. For now, please help vote for AmourChaleur here and here if you happen to like my site. No pressure, don’t worry! And thanks if you did vote.
I spend some time “updating” my theme files today. I was using the header tags incorrectly for some time and even though I knew it, I’m too lazy to change it. But I have finally updated the codes and am glad to say that I’m not abusing my header tags anymore.
The JavaScript for the comments reply function is working already. It’s failing silently in the past due to the the wrong code on my reply_comment_link. It took me really long to figure out the mistake. I was using
array('add_below' => $add_below
from a tutorial I read previously. The correct one should be
array('add_below' => 'div-comment'
Then, there’s another problem where the form isn’t positioned correctly. And guess what? It’s because I’m using the class “comment” twice in my stylesheet. That’s pure stupidity on my part. I would like to drop some thanks to Teddy for offering e-mail support and Ivy for testing out the forms when it’s fixed.
- The series revolves around the development and adventures of Zoey Redbird, a 16-year-old gifted fledgling vampyre who attends the House of Night school where she will eventually change into a Vampyre or die in the process. [«]

Woah, lovely stuff from Thailand! You reminded me when I travelled to Bangkok very long time ago when I was still in primary school… I didn’t get to buy things but I really love the shopping malls and night markets there! People are spoiled with the variety of goods
I wonder which IKEA are you going to? The one at Queensway or the other one at Tampines? I hope you didn’t get lost, haha! I love going to IKEA but it has been ages since I’ve last been to one.
Have a great weekend!
p/s: Voted for you, good luck!

I have actually never been to Bangkok.
Hopefully, my sissy will bring me there in the future. She knows the place quite well.
We went to the one at Queensway because it’s nearly to our place. Haha! We went Marina after that and got lost while trying to get home. Took us around 50 minutes to reach home safely. :P Ikea has so much stuff to look at. I never fail to get something from there when I visit the place.
Thanks for the vote.
